We meet Tuesdays, from 6:30PM to 8:30PM,  starting on September 9 and continuing for 15 weeks through January 20, 2009

Classes are held in Yorkville at 110 East 88th Street PS 169.

AN ADVANCED READING/CONVERSATION CLASS

  The cost of the classes depend on the number of students. As a non-profit organization we only cover our expenses through enrollment. The 15-week course fluctuates around $400.00 depending on the number of students.  We suggest you register early, as classes fill up quickly.                                Books are extra
                                               All you have to do to join our club is sign up for our Tuesday classes!
                                                           Latecomers are pro-rated according to their registration date.
                                      Students are accepted during the course, only if they have some proficiency in German
                         Students MUST register via the brochure coupon and bring two blank checks
                         on the first night of class or they will not be addmitted! To pre register you must mail in the brochure coupon with
                                                                    a $40.00 non-refundable registration fee

We offer Classes for Children TODDLERS to TEENS: 3:45 - 4:45; and 5:00-6:00 PM A flat fee pre-paid registration of $350.00 for the 15 weeks is required
(teens may also attend the adult classes)

The STAMMTISCH meets once a month at 7:30 PM: The First Wednesday at The Heidelberg Restaurant at 1648 Second Avenue betw. 85 and 86 St. For more information kaj133@aol.com. We eat dinner and converse in German. in a causal atmosphere.

ONLY GERMAN IS SPOKEN AND IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT SPEAK GERMAN FLUENTLY


                                                      
We are a EIGHTEEN year old cooperative of professionals, adult students children, and native teachers who enjoy the pursuit of German language and culture in an informal environment. We were the original German School at Zion St. Mark's Church till 1998.
We are a non-profit organization, run and supported by our members.Thus the more student we have the less the tuition fee - with the profit going to the students We offer five  levels of adult learning and five children's classes, as well as social and cultural events.
